This year's Christmas lights switch-on in St Helier will take place at a new location.
Parade Gardens will host the event on Thursday, 14 November, featuring a Christmas Village with food and drink stalls, live entertainment, and festive activities.
The parade, including Santa's Sleigh, will begin at West's Centre at 7:15 pm and follow a new route through the high street to Charing Cross. It will pass by the Town Hall before arriving at Parade Gardens.
Town Hall officials are promising the biggest and best show yet. There will be live performances from the Jersey School of Popular Music and other entertainment starting at 5 pm at West's Centre.
The Christmas Village at Parade Gardens will open at 4 pm, offering a family sing-along to welcome Santa, with the lights being switched on at 8 pm.
Connor Burgher, Head of Engagement and Town Centre Manager, said: "We are excited to hold the Christmas Light Switch-On in a brand-new location this year. This change allows us to deliver a bigger and better show than ever before. We hope everyone will join us in celebrating the official start of Christmas in St Helier—it's an event not to be missed!"
In previous years, the parade has started at Millennium Town Park, passed through Royal Square, and ended at a Christmas Village at the Weighbridge.
