Police issue appeal after woman 'subjected to multiple assaults'


Police in Jersey are seeking witnesses following an incident in which a woman was reportedly assaulted multiple times by a man in St Helier. The alleged assault occurred between 20:55 BST and 21:10 on Friday, 20 September.


According to officers, the man and woman, both in their 30s, were seen arguing as they walked from Mulcaster Street to Halkett Street. Members of the public intervened during the altercation. It is alleged that during the walk, the man, described as wearing a grey T-shirt and dark work trousers, repeatedly assaulted the woman, who was dressed in a black top and trousers.


The police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the pair or has information about the incident to come forward. This includes drivers who were in the area and may have dash-cam footage that could assist with the investigation.
