New beachside cafe planned for Jersey

A planning application has been filed to construct a new beachside café in Jersey.

The proposal is for a "fully accessible beach kiosk" situated next to the public toilets at the base of La Haule Hill in St. Brelade.

The current men's and women's toilets will remain in their existing location, while the café will be positioned to the east of the facilities.

A decision on the application is expected after October 29.

The developers have stated in their application that the café will be designed to accommodate individuals using wheelchairs and those with other disabilities.
