King Charles Expresses Gratitude to Jersey Children for Their Artwork

King Charles has expressed his gratitude to children in Jersey for their heartfelt artwork and messages following his recent visit to the island.

In a letter from Buckingham Palace, it was shared that King Charles was "touched" by the letters of support and drawings he received.

The initiative began when Jersey Post invited local children to share their memories of the July visit through pictures or written messages. The letters were then collected and sent to Buckingham Palace at no cost to residents.

The message from Buckingham Palace read, “It was so kind of you to take the time to write. The King was touched by your thoughtful letters of support after Their Majesties' recent visit to Jersey and deeply appreciated the care you put into your artwork.”
