Jersey Parish Earns Double Recognition at Britain in Bloom Awards

St Helier has earned two honours in the Royal Horticultural Society's Britain in Bloom competition, winning the coastal category and receiving a gold award.

RHS judges visited in August, touring spots like the Jersey Hospice Gardens, GROW Project, Surville allotments, and the town center.

Simon Crowcroft, St Helier’s constable, praised the community groups and teams involved, saying the awards highlight their dedication to keeping the parish vibrant and environmentally friendly.

Months of preparation went into the competition, including the creation of a 52-page portfolio showcasing St Helier's horticultural and environmental efforts.
