Jersey Airport Braces for Busy Half-Term Travel Week

Around 10,000 travelers are set to fly out of Jersey Airport this weekend as the school half-term holidays begin, with a total of 46,000 passengers expected throughout the week. Six charter flights are scheduled to popular destinations like Funchal, Malaga, and Lanzarote.

Travelers are urged to allow extra time for security checks and remember that liquids over 100ml should be packed in checked baggage.

Maria Le Tiec, Head of Security, noted that many flights will depart within minutes of each other, so passengers should be prepared for busy security lines.

Liquids under 100ml must be removed from hand luggage for scanning but don’t need to be in plastic bags.
