Havana Nightclub Announces Permanent Closure After 14 Years in St. Helier
Havana, one of the last remaining nightclubs in Jersey, has officially announced it will close its doors for good. The popular St. Helier venue has been a staple for 14 years and will hold its final event on December 22, 2024.
Following the closure, only a few nightclubs will remain on the island, including Vittoria (formerly Mimosa), Chambers, The Yacht, and The Splash.
The club's owners shared the news on social media, stating they are being "forced to close" due to "extensive internal and external building works" affecting the entire building. They also communicated that all tenants must "vacate the building by December 24."
In a heartfelt message, the staff expressed gratitude to their loyal customers: "We would like to extend a huge thank you to our amazing staff for their hard work!
"We also appreciate our loyal customers who have supported the club through the years, especially during challenging times.
"While we are saddened to close our doors, we fondly remember the countless memories created within these walls over the past 14 years.
"Please come and enjoy our remaining time together. "Hopefully, one day we will meet again!"
